  1. If someone works for a political campaign, how the hell do we know when their comments are not associated with that campaign? That’s a mind-boggling concept, for real! They should give a disclaimer before each statement… what I’m about to say is part of the campaign policy… what I’m about to say is not part of the campaign policy. It’ll make interviews a little longer, but at least we won’t get so confused.

btw, I think that Wesley Clark is a handsome man, right up there with other old cuties like Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan.

And I really don’t have a problem with anything Clark said about McCain. He wasn’t disrespecting his military history at all.

  2. If a chest full of medals and valor in service made someone automatically eligible for the Oval Office, we’d already have a President Clark.

Wesely Clark’s comments have been hi-jacked and distorted by the right. There’s a shocker.

  3. I’ve listened to Gen. Clarks statement and found nothing inflamatory about it at all. He praises John McCain for the hero that he is but states that that alone is not justification to be POTUS. Someone thought they could make something of this because it could be spun to make it sound like Clark was disrespecting McCains war record.

How about the real issues: the war, the economy, the National debt, inflation and on and on.

  4. This story represents how the Media can still manipulate private opinion and make it public information and call it news. The only thing news worthy about this story comes from the bias that Gen. Clark’s words are an attack on Sen. McCain. They aren’t an attack. They are an opinion and no apology is necessary. The media spin here actually helps Sen. McCain by playing the victim card. The Media wants to help Sen. McCain and generating sympathy for him is one way to help. I don’t think being a prisoner of war is a pre-requisite or qualification for President. I don’t think sleeping with a President is one either. My opinion isn’t news and neither is Gen. Clark’s. We don’t apologize for our opinions. The media owes Clark an apology. We don’t owe McCain anything for serving us and getting captured. This is the same thing as “Racial Guilt.” It’s “Military Guilt.” Some people think Obama should become President based on some quota. Obama must prove his qualifications too. Shame on the media for showing bias.

  5. If Wesley lark hopes to get history rewritten and get that nasty Chinese Embassy bombing off his record he better be nice to Obama. Obama already told him to back off.

  6. OOps,
    Wesley Clark

  7. I do not believe that Wesley Clark would make such comments about a fellow retired military officer without prompting from either Obama or somebody very high up in his campaign. I’m a retired Naval Flight Officer and I know whereof I speak. Clark even uses Obama’s scheme when he doesn’t want to answer fully for a snafu. To wit: “Look, let’s get beyond this and talk about the real issues of this campaign.” The truth of the matter is that Obama’s record for being Commander in Chief is so far below McCain’s that Obama is not even on the chart. Clark speaks about McCain’s judgment? Obama’s judgment concerning his associations is the root cause I would not consider voting for him.

  8. Hey, didn’t Wesley Clark provide the tanks at Waco?

  9. Hey, wasn’t wesley clark relieved of his command at nato?

Killing all those innocent civilians didn’t sit well with people so wesley had to be asked to retire early.

It’s amazing how soon the democrats forgot this man was charged with war crimes.

  10. Maybe wes clark should send back that pension he got serving with big brother and distance himself from the evil empire, but we all know he has something else on his agenda.
