Subject: BREAKING NEWS: Pastor John Hagee Withdraws Endorsement From Senator John McCainDear Alan,
Ever since I endorsed John McCain for president, people seeking to attack Senator McCain have combed my records for statements they can use for political gain. They have had no qualms about grossly misrepresenting my position on issues most near and dear to my heart if it serves their political ambitions.
I am tired of these baseless attacks and fear that they have become a distraction in what should be a national debate about important issues. I have therefore decided to withdraw my endorsement of Senator McCain for President effective today, and to remove myself from any active role in the 2008 campaign.
I hope that the Senator McCain will accept this withdrawal so that he may focus on the issues that are most important to America and the world.
“I wish I knew how to quit you.”
MAN, that’s the BEST part of that movie. lol
Well, wasn’t the mainstream media’s obsession with Rev. Wright also a distraction from the real issues facing this nation as well? But, of course, the media won’t go nutty over Hagee and Parsley because WHITE preachers can say all the crazy stuff they want and they get a complete pass. Wright, after all, was the Scary, Angry Black Man. Can’t we all talk about the economy, the illegal occupation of Iraq, the rising cost of gas instead?
I think that all this presidential media thing is just too overrated. Sometimes I just turn off the radio or look the other way when the political news comes on.
There are way too many distractions going on as on purpose, it is almost too embarrassing to let other countries know what us, Americans must go through in order to choose the better candidate.
I will probably be moving to another country some time in the future. This country makes me grow so much white hair, more than the damn president himself. I wish I was actually golfing right now as a matter of fact.
Face it, any preacher or anybody very religious will explode someday and just flip out completely because they have heard and seen and gone through too many shocking things; but keeping composure has just become a challenge for them.
Who is Hilary’s preacher? Is she secretly a jewish “loathing” monger too? Ooohhh I cannot wait for something else like this to come on the news. Oh wait, too much of this is happening right now that who would really even care anymore…YAWN.
Recently Frank Rich of the New York Times try to make a comparison between Obama’s Reverend Wright situation and John Hagee backing McCain. this is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Don’t believe me? Check out this article Another Comparison Between John Hagee and Jeremiah Wright.
First of all, both priests are disrespectful to at least the majority of the people. It was very displeasing to hear “God damn America”, and very disrespectful to know that, “God sent Hitler as a hunter after the Jews.”
Now, to say that Hitler was sent as a hunter from God?- that is extremely disrespectful to the the Big man…to God. I though God was a spreader of L-O-V-E.
What churches are these candidates going to? This Hagee guy is so extreme. I can understand Reverand J. Wright being mad at America b/c maybe the old guy still holds some bitterness towards the american culture when it comes to racism and so on. But Hagee to insult God and Jews—-man, it is dishonorable and greatly insulting.
Stop the hate, haters. yOU’re only contaminating America more than it needs to.
STOP THE HATE NOW!
Alan:
The other night I had the honor of being part of your radio show when I unceremoniously called in and spoke with you about an incident that had happened roughly a year ago with a psychic who had predicted I would get a book deal.
He said, “Hang in there Paul!” And those words stuck with me.
And Alan said, “Let us know what happens.” (To that affect)
Maybe he’s psychic, or maybe it was the confidence he inspired? Nevertheless, I thank you Alan for you and your show’s help for making it all possible, oddly enough.
Notwithstanding, I think an (Official) interview is in order. (Hint)
BTW . . . I would also like to thank you and your staff for allowing me the opportunity to speak on your show without ridicule or prejudice or skepticism . . .Thank you once again . . . Paul Allen Leoncini. . Author of Conjuror . . . and loyal fan.
