On Friday’s Radio Show…
May 16, 2008• Barack Obama strikes back! The latest on his war of words with President Bush and John McCain.
• From the late-night TV hit Red Eye, Greg Gutfeld, Andy Levy and Bill Schulz join Alan for a Friday Night Free-For-All like none other.
Ah, I’m glad I checked in before going out for a bite. (It’s been awhile)
This is the opportunity Barack has been looking for.
Republicans believe they are seizing the opportunity to bash Michelle, discredit Barack, and frighten Americans.
What I see happening is Michelle has an opening to defend her feelings of pride and happiness for Barack, Obama has the chance to get off the useless banter that has been used so far to criticize his campaign and can now attack conservatives on their record, and Americans get to show the world how we pick presidents.
It’s gonna be good.
Tis a good day. I’ll be listening.

gutfeld…excellent
8-)
Gutfeld:
“Apparently, Barack Obama is more frightened of America than he is of its enemies….”
—whaaat?
that has to be the most ridiculous and flabbergasting statement I have heard yet being shot towards Obama, and there’s more to it.
~lol.
People have to begin to accept that black is the new president. =)
yeah.
Barack is the new black.
Stick and stones might hurt him but words, never. He is the king of words for pete’s sake.
what doesn’t kill will only make him stronger.
Obama Oeight.
“Barack is the new black” LOL
I really really want “southern pride” to start bloggin’ with us…
I missed last fridays show…lets free for all!
i dont like watching the red queer eye for the straight guy on the foxnews network.
that show is on like at 4 am and it just blows!!
Louie, be nice! :-) Anyway, I think they’re funny. I haven’t seen the show, but I’m enjoying the antics tonight.
Awesome show tonight! The Red Eye guys were funny. So, as for the unofficial “best of radio graffiti” list, there were a lot of good ones tonight. I’m going to have to listen to the podcast and get them again. But the ones I remember:
Your mama loved it!
Yes, Hillary IS scared of the gays.
Hey Alan Colmes, you suck!
Heh, no, no I just really wanted to say you did a good job interviewing Oliver North last night.
I believe Republicans are making themselves look downright pathetic with their ridiculous assertions that Barack’s idea of tough debate and negotiation has no place in hostile regimes.
Am I wrong in saying that Republicans simply love to lie, scare, and pervert american values?
All I hear is “How are you going to negotiate with men who say these (example 1,2,3) terrible things!!”
-As if we should only negotiate with the nice & pretty speaking hostile regimes?
Isn’t the point of every hard negotiation ever waged whether it be with a country, a hostage taker, murderer or bank robber to match wits, patience, and argument to achieve compromise?
Unfortunately words like wit, patience, and compromise
are as foreign to republicans as words like truth, honesty, and perspective.
Wow, I can barely watch your show Alan because as an informed young man I easily see through the troubling gaping logic-holes in the flimsy “debate” that passes as punditry on A&C, I mean do these guys actually believe what they say?
It’s all just edutainment right? (light emphasis on “edu”) nobody could really believe the manure that comes out of Frank Lutz’s mouth.
Ew
Right on, Noel.
Another thing I’ve heard from conservative radio since Barack said he’d talk to our enemies, is what brilliant question does he think he’ll ask them. How about the following:
Obama: What can we do to work together to bring about change in your country?
Enemy Nation: We want to rule our country and oppress the people in our country who disagree with us.
Obama: But you see that that has negative consequences. In order for you and your group to live prosperously, it’s important to keep peace among all of your citizens.
Enemy Nation: Screw that, dude.
Obama: Whatever he wants to say or ask to continue the dialog b/c DIALOG IS A GOOD THING.
