Al: Obama/Colmes '08 FTW
jake: Akan I hope you are not pulling a Matt Drudge and uppping your visitor counter then refreshing every 10 seconds - you'l have 10 billion "visitors" or "hits" just like he claimed in no time at all.
jake: You gott fix the refresh / ideo issue - I have tried three times to watch it and i just gave up.
RC: And, heh, it just did it again, so it looks like the video doesn't fit between refreshes.
RC: Hmm, the auto-update just interrupted the Corsi video replay
RC: Well, if it doesn't auto-update, it's not really streaming, so what's the point?
seedyh: to be an american again After the neo-cons are in gitmo!
FuRyUs: Why does this scroll upside down?
FuRyUs: Great. You read it...
FuRyUs: Do Not Read This.

Oh? And you’ve never done anything silly? How would you like it if someone dredged up your old “work” to replay over and over and over again.
Hey, it was 1978!! Thirty years ago!! Disco!! Saturday Night Fever!! Smokey and the Bandit!! The hair styles were also silly!! All the girls looked like Farrah Fawcett!! And don’t get me started on all the dorky clothes we were also wearing!!
Live long and prosper, Captain Kirk!!

Wow. Way before my time. I barely recognize Shatner outside of gray hair or Futurama (I never watched Star Trek reruns). Is that big face him too?

Well, the guy had the first faux interracial kiss on TV, so what can I say? He’s a little like the lovable uncle who gets a bit drunk and silly at weddings. You remember the good jokes and forgive him the groaners.
Right, Spocko? Check.

I had a HUGE crush on William Shatner when I was a kid. I lovvvved watching Star Trek. lol. Oh yeahhhh ;)
Despite what some people say, Shatner was a pretty good actor some of the time. YES HE WAS! I’m a Twilight Zone fanatic and I loved that episode (above) along with the other one; he’s on a plane where he sees a creature on the wing of the plane who disappears everytime anyone else looks out the window. Everyone thinks Shatner is mad but in the end he saves the day. He was SUPERB in that episode.
He was also excellent in the film “The Brothers Karamazov”.
If you liked that interpertation of Rocket Man, I have a tape where he’s doing the same with “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” and “Mr. Tambourine Man”. I would play it for friends sometimes to completely freak them out. Has to be heard to be believed. Hilarious but I don’t think Mr. Shatner intended it to be lol.
Alan can I come over to the studio, it’ll take 15 minutes for me to get there. I’d like to meet Mr. Shatner and give him a kiss. Thanks.

Right, the gremlin ep. Good stuff. Interesting too for a look at a circa 1950s airliner. And don’t forget the ep where Shatner and new wife break down in a little town and spend the day at the diner with the fortune telling machine.
Actually, Shatner’s style reminds me of Jeremy Brett’s interpretation of Sherlock Holmes: grand theatrical gestures that might seem a bit less pretentious on the stage.
