  2. Hey Alan, I called in earlier and forgot my point, so I weighed in on John Edwards’s words and Hillary Clinton’s chances.

Now I remember my point but can’t call in again. Regarding something your guest said at the beginning of the show that Obama’s VP choice should be a woman or a Republican, I have often thought that we don’t need a Democratic administration or a Republican administration, we need an American administration.

So to create this, I think it would be interesting if a Democrat and a Republican ran together and somehow worked out an agreement to give some and take some. It could lend way to conflict and problems, but who knows? It could be the golden Presidency.

If you don’t read this on the show, I will call in on Monday! Be prepared. Have a good night.

  3. Perhaps when Sean is done with Wright he can move on to these questions for Obama. Over 1500 reads in the past two days, so I think eventually someone is going to ask him about that. If they ask it the right way it’s going to get hundreds of thousands of views on Youtube and the Dems might want to wait another four or eight years.

  4. Nick~ I think it would be more feasible at this time for a Dem and an Independent to run together.

  5. Alan, how the hell can you listen to Hannity all the time? Do you have a bucket under the desk to vomit in? I love ya Alan, but Hannity is a buffoon of a joke of an idiot. I t doesn’t even seem like someone can think the way he does. Frightening! OBAMA 08!

  6. I think its a requirement to have at least one adultry case in your life to be considered in N Y C state and federal gov. position, from there you can go for the bonus as a congressman or senate. Felonies and misdemenors are looked upon as favorites though.

  7. Haywood~ I can’t listen to Hannity’s entire show, but he’s not so bad (other than cutting off callers with an opposing view point). He’s honest.

see if your congresman is on the list

  9. “I think it’s a requirement to have at least one adultery case in your life to be considered in NY state…”

As a native NYer I take that to be something of a smear. Adultery is NOT required. But if you’re mobbed up that almost certainly does help.

  10. May Hannity burn in hell with OReilly and Limbaugh!

  11. Hey alan have seen ZEITGEIST, THE MOVIE?what is your opinion about it.
    ps love your show.

  12. Sunday nights stink. On the station that I listen to Alan during the week on has Bill Cunningham on. Even as a “conservative” this guy makes me want to puke!

  13. Just saw Jeffrey Sachs on CSpan-2 and he says we’ll spend more on the Pentagon this year than the entire world has spent on aid to Africa in the entire history of the world.

  14. RC~ do you seriously have a problem with defense spending? Come on, the problem isn’t the money allocated to our military budget, it’s what we then do with the money. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with making sure that we have an adequately prepared military in good physical, emotional health. We also need to make sure that the military has the proper equipment. Now, as far as how much money is set aside to bomb other countries for material reasons… THAT’S the problem. But we need to be militarily prepared.

  15. Yes, you are immature..and stupid. Chill lady, you’re about to have a stroke. Maybe you should.

  16. Lol… so now I’m immature and stupid b/c you showed yourself to be an asshole and called you on it. Sucks to be me, I guess.

  17. I don’t agree with comparing AIDs spending to military spending, though I understand it is a comment on priority, but if RC also means to allude to the problem of waste and over spending by the Pentagon, Congress, and to argue that the spending is out of proportion to evidential need, than I think he is making a strong point.

  18. People have strokes here? =/
Jeez, sometimes I do feel like this place is a little on the “airy” side on comments and not too substantial like other forums I’ve been to.
Oh well, I am not about to have a stroke, that is for sure. =)

  19. My main problem with Pentagon spending is a more generalized $12 billion a month to break crap and kill people, which inevitably adds to the rivers of lard gushing into the insatiable gullet of big politically-connected corporations, but meanwhile a bridge in Minnesota falls into the river.
