Some Blogger
Don’t you hate it when you call up some friend and they have their kid on the answering machine? They think it’s cute. So, some blogger has his kid writing a letter to George W. thanking him for the rebate check, and then saying:
Please forgive our daddy for saying bad words, he doesn’t do it often. Usually he says bad words when we watch Fox News and he listens to an “idiot” named Alan Colmes. He makes daddy mad, but not as mad as the left-wing whore on the “Obama Network” named Chris Mathews. We don’t like them because they make daddy angry.
Very nice that he wants to teach his kids to call someone with another point of view an “idiot” or, worse, a “whore.”

I know this letter was written from the perspective of his children for affect, but how could this guy possibly think it’s cute to say that his daddy gets pissed at the “idiot named Alan Colmes” and the “left-wing whore”? Those are strong words. Reminds me of the Dixie Chicks song NOT READY TO MAKE NICE, which was partly a response for their “screw bush but support the troops” comments before a concert. But then as the American public found out more about the bullshit ‘justifications’ for our war, all of a sudden the Dixie Chicks were right.
“I made my bed and I sleep like a baby
With no regrets and I don’t mind sayin’
It’s a sad sad story when a mother will teach her
Daughter that she ought to hate a perfect stranger
And how in the world can the words that I said
Send somebody so over the edge
That they’d write me a letter
Sayin’ that I better shut up and sing
Or my life will be over”

Small minds don’t think..but they sure can hate. It’s so much easier for the feeble minded.

Scroll down the page, and you’ll see another ridiculous preteen picture. This one is on a billboard in China, advertising Disney brand underwear.

Does anyone remember hearing about Michelle Obama’s senior year thesis from Princeton? I keep hearing about how “dangerous” Michelle is, so I decided to start some research on her. I came across an article from Politico today, which provides some excerpts from the thesis. It’s like 100 pages, so my mom is going to print that bad boy for me so I can read it.

That letter is of the same mindset of the people that have bummper stickers saying “my kid beat up your honor roll student” and the rednecks with “trucknuts” hangin’ of the back of the p-ups.

The blogger is a good friend of mine and I am one of several liberal Democrats with whom he associates. I can tell you that he is an excellent father and loving husband. In fact, in both of these areas, he is the best that I know. Although he and I disagree on a variety of issues, I love him like a brother and have appreciated his friendship greatly over the past 15 years of my life. I have no issue, being that both kids do not use swear words nor do they have disrespectful opinions of anyone, with his writings except that I disagree with most everything he suggested. I am glad to hear though they have bunk beds in their home.
All that being said, I would like to note that I too am not a big Alan Colmes fan. I appreciate his intellect and ideas, but I have never appreciated the fact that he profits from being the “foil” for a right wing shill. The fact that Roger Ailes has set his program up to have a good looking, likeable rightwinger against a nerdy looking leftist makes me think of high school where the quarterback and class president would debate the Chess Club Captain in a class exercise. Alan, please, for the sake of all liberals, please take a contract buyout, invest your money well, and then shut up. If not that, then please consider a chin implant, BoTox, a better hair stylist and actually consult the makeup person at Fox News before you go on the air. That would at least even the playing field on that joke of a pro/con show that you are on.
By the way, his kids have never called me an idiot and they never will.

Anyone who would infer that using some fictional kids as a foil for making a point has anything to do with how the writer raises his kids is “an idiot.” Do you believe that it is really kids on a school bus talking about annuities in those AIG commercials? And as to the other point: Yes, Chris Mathews is a left-wing whore. He is incapable of being a journalist. Anyone who still thinks Chris Mathews is a journalist probably also believes kids on school buses discuss the utilities and limitations of variable annuities.

did anyone look at the disney ad that i posted?
Paulie~ get over it. Your right to free speech doesn’t protect you from criticism of said speech. Alan’s two paragraphs presenting the topic were much more fair and intelligent than the letter to W from your ‘kids’.

I also know Paul personally. I have heard left wing nut jobs say worse about “W” and you know what, that is probably where his sons learned that behavior. They say it starts with the parents which is true, but there are now so many outside sources at work that leak into households. I would blame the public school system but fortunately, his sons are a little too young to be subjected to this propaganda as of yet. I know everyone is willing to spend the money that “W” has passed out, including Mr. Colmes, but if you are so against this, then you should return the money out of principle. But I can guarantee, that will never happen. And Cheryl, saying that Alan’s 2 paragraphs were much more intelligent— that is not saying much for Colme’s considering you are comparing him to 2 children under the age of 5.

That’s incorrect, because the two children under the age of 5 didn’t write this piece.
