As an avid listener of your, never having phoned in but, never-the-less, enjoying your program; I want to say that I personally take offense at those who call in questioning your patriotism. I think that you are the personification of we Americans who like to tell it like it is, not beat around the bush, but evaluate each side of a story. You are not only an entertainer, but have guests on your program what you may or may not agree with. You are always respectful and behave like a true gentleman and put up with a lot. I have a complaint but it’s far different than the brainless attacks on you by a majority of those who post comments.
My complaint is that we don’t hear enough of your views on “Hannity and Colmes”. It seems like the producers stick you in for a couple of minutes here and there (perhaps to call the show “fair and balanced”) but Hannity is allowed back in before you really have a chance to make his point.
It bothers me that a right wing empty suit like Hannity gets six hours of prime time every week to spew his far right crap and to vent his contempt for anybody and everything with which he disagrees.
(And it makes me sick that Dick Morris is allowed on the air so much. FOX presents him as some detached, objective political analyst but the fact is that he hates Hillary Clinton and will trash her, no matter what the issue or question is, whenever he gets an opportunity. Much to my surpise, Karl Rove, is an excellent analyst who I look forward to hearing. He is indeed a partisan but on the air he is very objective in looking at the Democratic and Republican campaigns. I’ve noticed that he seldom goes in the direction Hannity sometimes tries to guide him.
